The Culver Community School Board members tabled two purchases during their meeting last week.
The replacement of vertical glass in the Middle School gym was discussed. It would cost upwards of $140,000, but the board members were hesitant to approve the purchase without specific details and Superintendent Karen Shuman was not in attendance. The board members had the same discussion for furniture for the library, Family and Consumer Science room and classrooms when it came up for approval at a cost of about $150,000.
The board will meet to discuss those purchases in a future setting.
In other news, the board approved the adoption of the Math curriculum at the Elementary School and they also approved the strategic plan as it was presented.
