The Culver Community School Board members accepted the retirement of two employees during their meeting Monday night.
Treasurer/Business Manager Casey Howard stated as part of the consent agenda that Connie Hite and Phil Owens put in notices of retirement at the end of the last school year.
Hite is retiring as a bus driver after 33 years at the corporation. The board thanked her for her years of service and smiled as they contemplated the number of children she got to transport to and from school and events during those years.
They also thanked Phil Owens for his time at Culver Community Schools as a Special Education aide.
