A Bremen woman was arrested Thursday, June 8 following an investigation into a single vehicle accident in the 11,000 block of Tyler Road in Marshall County.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, deputies arrived at the scene and found a 2015 Chrysler 200 stuck in a ditch along the roadway. The driver, 42-year-old Andrea Buck, was reportedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.
She was offered field sobriety testing, but refused, and she also refused a certified chemical test, according to the report. Police say a search warrant was granted. Her blood alcohol later reportedly showed her to be three times over the legal limit of alcohol.
Buck was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or greater.
The Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office will determine formal charges.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
