The Argos Community School Board approved the dates for a surplus auction, according to Superintendent Ned Speicher.
“We set the dates for July 31 to August 9,” stated Speicher. “It will be an online surplus auction. We’ll have some school buses for sale, cafeteria furniture, classroom furniture, and surplus technology for sale. Bids will start at $1.00, but things that are more expensive like school buses will have a minimum bid.”
The online auction will open on the school’s website at https://www.argos.k12.in.us/.
The corporation’s Back to School Night is scheduled for August 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET. Those who attend are welcome to walk through the improvements made to the cafeteria. Construction was done to increase the capacity in the cafeteria to accommodate the increase in enrollment at the corporation so students could comfortably sit while eating meals at school.
