The Argos Community School Board approved the purchase of property from the Argos Park Department, according to Superintendent Ned Speicher.
“It’s on the south side of our property,” said Speicher. “We purchased part of the park to increase driveway and parking spots for the school district. The cost of that was $18,400.”
The board also approved the breakfast and lunch prices for the upcoming school year which are the same as the last approval.
“Our student breakfast is $1.35 and then for students the lunch is $2.60 for Elementary. It’s a dime more for Junior/Senior High School lunch which is $2.70.”
The adult breakfast price for staff and visitors is $2.50 and lunch is $4.60.
