A Plymouth woman was arrested Thursday, May 18 following a crash that damaged a guard rail and continued to a residence located in the 12,000 block of 11th Road in Marshall County.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a report of an impaired or unsafe driver in that area at 6 p.m. ET. A Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K9 deputy located the vehicle and the driver at the residence. The driver, 39-year-old Miranda Poor, was suspected of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was transported to the hospital for a chemical test, according to the report.
Police say once the test was conducted, Poor was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, operating a vehicle while intoxicated controlled substance, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license, and possession of marijuana.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
