A Plymouth resident is the recipient of an Indiana Sheriff’s Association Scholarship.
Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel announced that Chloe Garner was selected by the Indiana Sheriff’s Association Scholarship Committee to receive a $750 scholarship.
The Indiana Sheriff’s Association Scholarship Fund was established for the purpose of receiving, investing, and dispensing of funds to provide college scholarships to qualified students who are committed to pursuing an education and career in the law enforcement field. There were 40 scholarships awarded by the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Fund this year.
Garner is a graduate of Plymouth High School Class of 2021 and while in her senior year interned at the Marshall County Jail. She will be starting her Junior year this fall at Indiana University South Bend majoring in Criminal Justice. This is her second Indiana Sheriff’s Association Scholarship.
