Plymouth Man Arrested on Battery Charge

A Plymouth man was arrested Friday, May 12 after an alleged battery incident.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, 45-year-old James Watts was outside of the Teacher’s Credit Union at 1501 Oak Drive at 8 a.m. ET when he allegedly started arguing with a person he did not know and struck him in the face.  Officers arrived on scene and took Watts into custody without incident. 

Watts was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of battery. 

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
