A Plymouth man was arrested Sunday, May 14 following a physical altercation with another person.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, 31-year-old Candido Ramirez Rangel and the other subject were separated upon the officer’s arrival. Police say Rangel was the aggressor and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He allegedly choked and battered his brother during the altercation.
Rangel was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of domestic battery and strangulation.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Plymouth Police Department.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
