A Plymouth man was arrested Wednesday, May 17 after he was found to be in violation of a court order.
According to the Plymouth Police Department, just before 7 p.m. ET, officers responded to the area of 700 W. Jefferson Street for two men that were in violation of a court order. Officers were reportedly later advised that one man, 18-year-old Jessie Highland, was in the 1500 block of N. Michigan Street where he allegedly engaged in a short foot pursuit.
Highland was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he faces a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
