A Plymouth woman was arrested just before 1 a.m. ET Friday, May 19 after the Plymouth Police Department conducted a security patrol through the Centennial Park.
The officer found a running vehicle parked on the east side of the park near the large sledding hill. A woman was found sitting in the driver’s seat. She was identified as 24-year-old Guadalupe Rosas. Police say there were signs of impairment and the officer reportedly observed open containers that were suspected to contain alcoholic beverages.
Following an investigation, Rosas was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating while intoxicated, operating while intoxicated over .15, and operating while intoxicated with a prior conviction. Rosas’ blood alcohol content was reportedly almost three times the legal limit.
The Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office will determine formal charges.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
