The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will open bids for the 2023 street paving projects when they meet tonight.
They will also consider the renewal of a Water Street parking space lease, and revisit the request from the Trinity United Methodist Church concerning the installation of a crosswalk.
Department heads will provide reports as necessary.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight, followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The Plymouth City Council will open a public hearing on an additional appropriations resolution. Another public hearing will be held on the American Containers tax abatement request, and the last public hearing will focus on the untimely filing of the CF-1 for Complexus Medical.
An ordinance regarding the legal advertisement fees for the City of Plymouth will be considered on second and third readings. An ordinance authorizing allowances for city employees and officials for mileage and meals will be presented on first reading. A resolution on additional appropriations will be up for approval, as well as a resolution that would confirm the adoption of a declaratory resolution designating certain real estate within the city to be within an “Economic Revitalization Area” for the purposes of real and personal property tax abatement for American Containers.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi will have several CF-1 forms for the council’s approval.
Both meetings will be held in the second floor Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street. Those interested in attending the meeting in person should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
