The Plymouth American Legion Post #27 will host Memorial Day services Monday, May 29.
Services to remember the fallen begin at 10 a.m. ET at the Marshall County Courthouse with the placing of a wreath there with a ceremony. They will proceed to the Michigan Street bridge where a salute to Navy Veterans will take place by placing a wreath in the Yellow River. Following that ceremony, they will travel to Oakhill Cemetery where the final wreath will be placed on the north side of the cemetery. There will be a Benediction and Mayor Mark Senter will give a few words. Members of the Plymouth High School band will also play patriotic music.
All are welcome to attend.
Volunteers previously posted flags and markers of military members buried in Marshall County cemeteries for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday.
