The May Primary Municipal Election is today and voters are encouraged to get out and cast a vote today! Voters are reminded that there are no Primary Election ballots in Argos, Bourbon, or LaPaz.
Live results will be broadcast live on MAX 98.3 FM after the polls close at 6 p.m. ET tonight as we follow many contested races.
Four candidates are seeking the Republican nomination for mayor of the City of Plymouth. Republicans Greg Compton, Rick Cooper Jr. (Coop), Nick Fisher and John R. Grolich are on the ballot. The winning candidate today will meet Democrat Robert W. Listenberger on the ballot in November.
Six Republican candidates are running for the four available seats on the Bremen Town Council including Joe Blakley, Incumbent Bill Daily, Incumbent Michael A. Leman, Alex Mikel, Bryan Miller, and Barbara A. Sauter.
Three seats are available on the Culver Town Council where Republicans Leigh (Boo) Marshall, Ginny Bess Munroe, Dana Neer and Incumbent Sally Ricciardi are running, along with Incumbent Democrat Rich West.
The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET at Bremen Pines at 1820 W. Plymouth Street, Knights of Columbus at 901 E. Jefferson Street in Plymouth, Culver Community Schools Administration Building at 700 School Street, and the Life Enrichment Center – Council on Aging at 1305 W. Harrison Street in Plymouth.

The Marshall County Election Board members counted 54 mail-in ballots and 27 Travel Board ballots in a meeting held Monday afternoon. The results of those ballots will not be determined until tallied today. There were 166 in-person early votes, 25 in-person early votes cast at Bremen Pines, and 28 in-person early ballots cast in Culver.
