The Bremen Town Council members appointed the new director of operations in a special meeting Thursday, May 11.
The town received several applications for the position. After interviews were conducted, Keith Fraine was appointed as the new director of operations with a unanimous vote of the council.
Fraine is the current cemetery superintendent for the Town of Bremen.
Current Director of Operations Trend Weldy announced his retirement earlier this year. Weldy plans to leave his post in August after serving in the position for about 10 years.
Bremen Town Council President Bill Daily thanked everyone who applied. He said it was a difficult decision as there were several very good applicants.
