Two Arrested by Plymouth Police Department Officers

A Plymouth man was arrested Friday, April 7 just before 7 p.m. ET after the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a 911 call about a man screaming in the area of the Days Inn motel in Plymouth.

When Plymouth Police Department officers arrived at the scene, they found 46-year-old Griffin Sterling and he was taken to the hospital in Plymouth for jail clearance, according to the report. He was then later arrested on preliminary charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting law enforcement. 

Later around 11:30 p.m. ET, an officer with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Jefferson and Walnut Streets for a vehicle that was reportedly operating without headlights.  The driver, 29-year-old Cody D. Desbrough of Walkerton, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering, and operating while intoxicated over .15. 

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
