Officials from the Town of Culver remind residents that fire hydrants will be flushed the week of April 10. This is a routine maintenance item to flush sediment from the water lines and allow for better water flow. If water is discolored, let the water run for a few minutes until it is clear.
Additionally, town-wide garage sales have been scheduled for Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29. The town will accept sale locations to be included on a map for shoppers by Tuesday, April 25. When the maps are prepared, they will be available at the Culver Town Hall, the local gas stations, and the First National Bank of Monterey.
Culver’s town-wide clean up will operate a bit differently this year. Place unwanted items at the curb the weekend of May 13 and May 14 and utility crews will pick up items Monday, May 15. Tires and hazardous waste will not be picked up by the workers.
