The Plymouth Police Department arrested several people this week who were wanted on warrants.
Benjamin Mathia, 34, of South Bend was arrested Sunday, April 2 just after 4:30 p.m. ET after the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a call of an unwanted guest at the Economy Inn. A Plymouth Police Department officer found that Mathia was found to have an active warrant through Marshall County and St. Joseph County for failing to appear in court. He was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail.
In a separate incident, a Plymouth Police Department officer was assisting the State Parole Board with serving a warrant Monday, April 3 at 12:15 p.m. ET. Upon arrival at the location of 37-year-old Brock Biddle, he reportedly jumped out of a window, but was quickly taken into custody. Police also reportedly found suspected methamphetamine and heroin during a search of Biddle. Victoria N. Anderson, 22, who was Biddle, was also taken into custody as she had an active warrant in Marshall County.
Additionally, 31-year-old Shaylene Crane, of Hanna, was arrested at the Plymouth Police Department headquarters Monday, April 3 just before 12:30 p.m. ET for a misdemeanor warrant for theft.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
