The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department has a new deputy and he is ready to serve the residents in the county.
Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel said Matthew Geiger was recently hired and was sworn into office by Marshall County Deputy Clerk Darlene Marquardt.
Geiger, 51, lives in Bourbon and comes with 15 years of law enforcement as an officer for the Bourbon Police Department.
