John Glenn School Board Approves Personnel Recommendations

The John Glenn School Board members approved retirements of two long-time employees last week.

Carol Kuzmicz is retiring as deputy treasurer in September. She has 28 years of service to the John Glenn School Corporation.  Superintendent Christopher Winchell and the board thanked her for her service. They also spoke highly of Kay Freehauf who is retiring after 41 years of teaching Science and Math.

Resignations included Patrick Crone who is a teacher and Athletic Director at Urey Middle School, and Nancy Buford who is an Instructional Aide at Walkerton Elementary School.

The board wished everyone well in their next phases of life.

The board also appointed several coaches.
