Nathanial Yoder

A Goshen man was arrested Thursday, April 13 after the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated a single-vehicle accident in the 1000 block of Plymouth-Goshen Trail.

An officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of the accident just before 11 p.m. ET. The driver, Nathanial L. Yoder of Goshen, was located and suspected to be under the influence of a controlled substance.  Police say field sobriety tests were completed, as well as an evaluation by a drug recognition expert.  As a result, Yoder was transported to the Marshall County Jail and processed on preliminary misdemeanor charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
