The Culver Community School Board took action Monday night to approve a resolution to withdraw from the JESSE Cooperative.
Superintendent Karen Shuman explained that three of the nine schools in the cooperative have already agreed to withdraw at the end of June 2024, including the cooperative’s Local Education Agency, the Plymouth Community School Corporation.
Shuman stated, “Everybody needs to put in a withdrawal by May 1, but you can rescind that letter anytime between now and June 24 if some members of the group want to come back together and form JESSE.”
The resolution was approved with a unanimous vote.
