The Argos Community School Board will host a public hearing tonight where members of the public can discuss the additional appropriation of General Obligation bonds to purchases school buses. The adoption of an additional appropriation resolution and the adoption of the final GO bond resolution are expected to take place.
The hearing will begin at 7 p.m. ET and will be followed by the regular meeting of the school board.
The board will get a Project Four site development report, and the members will consider the approval of a furniture purchase for the Elementary School addition and band room.
A resolution to withdraw from the JESSE Cooperative will be reviewed.
The extra-curricular compensation schedule will be discussed, as well as a Classified staff wage increase for the 2023-2024 school year.
Superintendent Ned Speicher will be provide a report to the board about corporation information.
Both the public hearing and the regular meeting will be held in the Dragon Center Conference Room.
