The Argos Community School Board members held a public hearing Monday night to take comments on a proposed General Obligation Bond.
Superintendent Ned Speicher discussed the purpose for the General Obligation Bond.
“There wasn’t any community input during the public hearing,” said Speicher. “The board then approved an adoption of the final General Obligation Bond resolution and Additional Appropriation resolution. These bonds for $550,000 will be to purchase school buses that we anticipate to arrive in July this summer.”
Speicher previously stressed that the bonds will have no impact on taxes.
