Argos Community School Board Approves Furniture for New Elementary Addition

The Argos Community School Board approved a quote from Lee Company to purchase furniture for the new Elementary School addition.

Superintendent Ned Speicher said the quote was for $45,997.82.

“It will be student desks, tables, and chairs,” said Speicher.  “The band room furniture has been there for a very long time so it is just being upgraded. The furniture will be going into an Elementary School music room, Elementary School art room, and a small group testing room.”

Speicher said the furniture should arrive at the start of the 2023-2024 school year.

Meanwhile, it was recommended to the board by the architect that bids not be accepted for Project 4 which includes fencing and parking lot work.  The project will be redesigned.
