Plymouth Police Department Officers Arrest Argos Man after Disturbance Call

Plymouth Police Department officers were called to the Grace Baptist Church Thursday shortly before 6:30 p.m. ET for a man who was beating on a vehicle.

Police say 30-year-old Joey Lemler of Argos was inside a rental vehicle with his mother and vandalizing the vehicle.  Lemler refused to get out of the vehicle so officers removed him from the vehicle. At the same time, Lemler resisted officers while being taken into custody, according to the report. Lemler allegedly battered an officer while being placed into the patrol car and reportedly expressed his desire to shoot all officers involved.

Lemler was taken to the Marshall County Jail where he faces preliminary charges of criminal mischief, resisting law enforcement, battery on a law enforcement officer, and intimidation. Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
