Plymouth Man Arrested after Brief Pursuit with Plymouth Police

A Plymouth man was arrested Wednesday, March 15 following a brief pursuit with police.

A Plymouth Police Department officer was assisting an Indiana State Police trooper on a traffic stop near 1840 N. Michigan Road when the officer noticed a black four-door passenger vehicle traveling southbound on Michigan Road weaving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed, according to the report.

The officer activated the lights and sirens on the squad car and attempted to initiate a traffic stop.  After a brief pursuit, the vehicle was stopped.

An investigation was conducted and the driver, 21-year-old Samuel Frias, was arrested and booked in the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement and reckless driving.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
