Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety Approves Pay Request for Mayor’s Month of Music

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety approved the request from City of Plymouth Coordinator Laura Mann, presented by Clerk-Treasurer Lynn Gorski, to pay the bands who perform for the Mayor’s Month of Music on the day that they have the performance as opposed to waiting for the dockets to be completed.

The Mayor’s Month of Music line-up this year will be held every Friday in July, August, and the first Friday of September this year in River Park Square.

The following bands are scheduled: Cornfield Mafia on July 7, RockDogs on July 14, WYSIWYG on July 28, The Bishops (Plymouth High School Reunion Night) August 4, The 1985 Band on August 11, This Homemade Conspiracy on August 18, PS Dump Your Boyfriend on August 25, and Magic Bus on September 1.

Attending the concerts are at no-cost to guests who are allowed to bring a cooler with food and beverages of their choice. The Marshall County Relay for Life teams will be selling concessions and there will be a variety of Food Trucks on site selling foods and beverages for those who prefer to purchase their picnic items.
