The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call Friday, March 17 shortly after 11 p.m. ET where a pedestrian was reportedly struck by a car on Michigan Road in the area of 2C Road.
Police say the driver of the vehicle was traveling north to Lakeville when he collided with a pedestrian. The pedestrian was alert and responsive at the scene, but sustained multiple injuries and was transported to the hospital for injuries, according to the report.
The occupants of the vehicle were not injured.
The accident is still under investigation. No names were provided in the release from the Sheriff’s Department.
