The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to an accident Friday, March 17 in the area of North Michigan Road and Skylane Drive in Plymouth that involved a Plymouth Police Department officer.
Police say Sergeant Ray West was traveling south on Michigan Road when a vehicle exited the Speedway gas station and ran into the side of the patrol vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
The driver of the passenger vehicle, Kevin Guyse, told police that he failed to see the police car traveling southbound as he exited the gas station, according to the report.
The accident remains under investigation and both vehicles sustained severe damage.
