A Bourbon man was arrested Tuesday, March 7 after the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a warrant service in the 200 block of West Walnut Street in Argos.
Police say at approximately 7 p.m. ET deputies arrived at the location and as they attempted to execute a warrant service the wanted person reportedly ran from police and into a residence.
At that point, K9 Diesel was deployed to locate the person inside the residence. K9 Diesel was able to find the man hiding in the attic, according to the report.
The man, 28-year-old Storm Kinsey of Bourbon, was taken into custody without further incident.
Kinsey was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the incident. After he was cleared, he was taken to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement and several active warrants through Howard County.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Argos Police Department and Argos EMS.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
