Two Vehicles Involved in Plymouth Accident

The Plymouth Police Department and Plymouth Fire and EMS were called to a two vehicle accident Friday, February 10 just before 11 a.m. ET at the intersection of Oak Drive and Jim Neu Drive in Plymouth.

Police say a 2011 Chevrolet driven by Bridget Scutchfield of Plymouth was stopped at the stop sign on Jim Neu Drive when she saw a black 2017 Ford traveling south on Oak Drive with the right turn signal activated.  Scutchfield thought the vehicle was going to turn so she proceeded into the intersection to travel north, but was struck by the Ford, driven by Jessica Mora of Plymouth, according to the report.

Mora reportedly told police that the vehicle’s turn signal was on due to changing from the left lane to the right lane on Oak Drive and Scutchfield’s vehicle failed to yield to the right-of-way and pulled into her path of travel causing the collision.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
