Two people were injured in a Monday accident in Marshall County.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies determined that a 2015 Freightliner semi tractor trailer became disabled in the driving lanes of U.S. 30 at 9A Road and the driver was unable to get the vehicle moved out of the way prior to a collision with a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck, according to the report.
Police say the semi truck driver, Asia Jones, and passenger, Furquan Hakeem, both of Georgia, were transported to the hospital for complaints of pain. The driver of the pickup truck, Marshawn Winston, of Illinois, was not injured.
