Knox Man Arrested on Suspicion of Drug Possession

A Knox man was arrested Wednesday, February 1 after officers from the Plymouth Police Department were called to a business on Jefferson Street on a report of a domestic dispute in a vehicle.

Police say two people were reportedly fighting in a truck. An investigation found 42-year-old James Messer allegedly in possession of several narcotics and was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Messer faces preliminary charges of possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
