The 2023 STEAM Expo is planned for Saturday, February 25 at the Culver Elementary School gymnasium, presented by the Culver Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization.
The STEAM Expo was created to engage the community in interactive learning experiences which demonstrate the Physical and Life Sciences, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics. It is a free community event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET which features local presenters and others throughout the state that aims to engage students and families and community members in hands-on activities. More than 20 exhibitors will be on hand, in addition to close to 50 different interactive experiences.
A few of the featured activities include a genetic taste test, a mineral match challenge, solar power fun with flashlights, mini wind turbine trail, beekeeper exploration, bugs and reptiles, native plants, fun with acoustic sound, rocket lab, the science behind photography, and building and engineering with Legos.
The Culver Elementary PTO is a not-for-profit entity created to support Culver Elementary School’s parents, teachers, and students.
