More Candidates File for Municipal Primary Election

More candidates have filed for office in the 2023 Municipal Primary Election in the Marshall County Clerk’s Office.

Democrat Jennifer Fonseca filed for Plymouth City Council At-Large, Democrat Jeff Houin filed for Plymouth City Council At-Large, Democrat Shiloh Carothers Milner filed for Plymouth City Council District 3, Democrat Cathy Huff Wraight filed for Plymouth City Council District 4, Republican Alex Mikel filed for Bremen Town Council member, Republican Sally Ricciardi filed for Culver Town Council member, and Republican Barbara A. Sauter filed for Bremen Town Council member. 

The offices in Plymouth up for election in this Municipal Election include mayor, clerk-treasurer, city council seats in Districts 1-4 and three At-Large seats.  In Argos, the clerk-treasurer and three At-Large seats are available.  In Bourbon, clerk-treasurer, and two At-Large seats are open in this election. There are four At-Large seats open in the Town of Bremen along with the clerk-treasurer’s position, while three At-Large seats are open in the Town of Culver as well as clerk-treasurer.  In LaPaz, the clerk-treasurer’s position and three At-Large seats are available.

Candidates have until Friday, February 3 at noon ET to file in the Marshall County Clerk’s Office.  The May Primary Municipal Election is May 2.
