Now is the time to enroll in Marshall County 4-H.
4-H is America’s largest youth development organization. 4-H empowers young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime. Independent research proves the unparalleled impact of the 4-H experience. 4-H’ers are four times more likely than peers to take action in their communities, two times more likely than peers to make healthy choices, and two times more likely than peers to pursue stem opportunities outside of school! 4-H’ers have reached the highest points of achievement in virtually every industry and sector. 4-H is a great chance for youth to meet kids of all ages who participate in 4-H.
Marshall County 4-H offers both Mini and Regular 4-H! Mini 4-H is for youth in grades K-2. Youth can enroll in up to two mini livestock projects, an unlimited number of exhibit building projects, and they are able to learn the basics of 4-H in a non-competitive environment.
Regular 4-H is for youth grades 3-12. Youth can be involved in 4-H for 10 years, and can choose as many projects as they would like.
Mini members may sign up for free and the regular 4-H member is $15.00 annually with a cap of $45.00 per family. This serves as a programming fee for the curriculum that is used, trips that are very cost effective, and also go toward scholarships.
