Another candidate has filed on the Republican ticket to run for mayor of the City of Plymouth in the May Primary Municipal Election.
Republican Rick Cooper Jr. (Coop) filed Monday afternoon in the Marshall County Clerk’s Office as the fourth Republican mayoral candidate for the City of Plymouth.
The offices in Plymouth up for election in this Municipal Election include mayor, clerk-treasurer, city council seats in Districts 1-4 and three At-Large seats. In Argos, the clerk-treasurer and three At-Large seats are available. In Bourbon, clerk-treasurer, and two At-Large seats are open in this election. There are four At-Large seats open in the Town of Bremen along with the clerk-treasurer’s position, while three At-Large seats are open in the Town of Culver as well as clerk-treasurer. In LaPaz, the clerk-treasurer’s position and three At-Large seats are available.
Candidates have until Friday, February 3 at noon ET to file in the Marshall County Clerk’s Office. The May Primary Municipal Election is May 2.
