The Triton School Board members took action to approve Teacher Appreciation Grants during their meeting last week, according to Superintendent Jeremy Riffle.
Riffle said the grants are aligned with a teacher’s evaluation. A highly effective teacher received $600 and an effective teacher received $520.
Riffle continued, “We were still trying to catch up with our collective bargaining as well, so they received retroactive pay before Thanksgiving. This was the second round. They received the Teacher Appreciation Grant and then they also received a $500 stipend.”
