John Glenn School Corporation Business Manager Tom Bendy advised the school board last week that the Department of Local Government Finance approved the submitted 2023 budget.
Bendy said the 1782 budget order was recently received and showed all funds approved as submitted.
The Education Fund is about $13.6 million, the Debt Service Fund is about $2.4 million, the Operations Fund is at just under $5.5 million, and the Rainy Day Fund is at $300,000.
The total of all funds is estimated at $21.8 million.
The Bus Replacement Plan and the Capital Projects Plan were also approved.
Additionally, Superintendent Christopher Winchell noted that a recent audit found no errors.
