To better improve the intercom, or communication, equipment at the Culver Middle/High School and the Culver Elementary School, upgrades were recently done in the buildings.
Superintendent Karen Shuman said the previous systems were outdated, as well as the tower, and with the upcoming building projects coming the summer of 2023, the new system was recently installed with new wiring before other extensive work is done.
The Communication Company out of South Bend did the project for a total of about $130,000.
