One Plan Commission member will be appointed by the Culver Town Council president to a four-year term. To keep the commission politically balanced per state statute, the appointee should be a Republican or Independent.
One Board of Zoning Appeals seat is open which is appointed by the Culver Town Council president to a four-year term.
Five Redevelopment Commission seats are available, two of which are appointed by the Culver Town Council president and the remaining three are appointed by the council to one-year terms.
One Culver-Union Township Library Board member is appointed by the Culver Town Council.
Residents must have lived in Culver for at least a year.
Interested candidates should fill out an application that is available at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, December 30 by 4 p.m. ET. The Culver Town Council members typically make appointments during the first meeting in January.
