The Plymouth Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred Tuesday evening just after 8 p.m. ET.
Police say they responded to the 800 block of W. Adams Street for the report of a female with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported by Plymouth EMS to the hospital with a gunshot wound to a lower extremity, according to the report. The suspect in the incident reportedly left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival at the scene.
The case remains under investigation.
