Plymouth Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

A criminal investigation by the Indiana State Police and officials from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force resulted in the arrest of a Plymouth man after a tip was given from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an online account had been used for child exploitation.

Police say the investigation revealed the owner of the online account was 60-year-old Timothy Stutzman.  He was arrested by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, November 17 after the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office issued warrants for Stutzman’s arrest.

Stutzman was arrested on seven counts of possession of child pornography as a Level 5 Felony.

The Indiana State Police was assisted by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office and Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
