The John Glenn School Board reviewed the superintendent’s contract when they met this week.
The proposed contract was an extension of what was approved in 2021. It adds an additional year to 2027.
The base salary is $132,400, but the superintendent would receive the same annual percentage of an increase as the teachers would receive. The board will also contribute costs to several benefits offered to the superintendent.
The superintendent would also have 15 paid days off, 11 sick days, and 5 continuing education days.
There were no public comments given during a public hearing on the contract last month.
The school board approved the contract with a unanimous vote.
