The Argos Community School Board members discussed appreciation compensation for employees during their meeting Monday night.
Superintendent Ned Speicher made the recommendation to the board.
“It varies a little bit by different groups, but I think it’s very nice of the board to approve my recommendation to address what is a difficult time for families and employees with inflation and increasing prices to give them an appreciation stipend here at the end of 2022,” said Speicher.
Additionally, the board members approved hourly salary adjustments to the secretaries in order to address additional duties.
