Two Arrested on Drug Charges in Marshall County

Two Argos residents were arrested Thursday, October 6 on several drug charges.

Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies, along with K9 Diesel, assisted Indiana Department of Corrections parole agents with an investigation at a home in the 17000 block of Kenilworth Road in Argos at approximately 6 p.m. ET. 

The investigation reportedly uncovered suspected methamphetamine, narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and other drug-related items inside the residence. 

Scott Lewis, 43, faces preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, legend drug deception, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a device or substance to interfere with a drug or alcohol screening test, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and a parole violation.

Marlanna Howell, 43, faces preliminary charges of neglect of a dependent, possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, legend drug deception, maintaining a common nuisance, resisting law enforcement, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

Both were taken to the Marshall County Jail. 

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
