Marshall County’s Community Crossings Matching Grant and additional paving projects are done for the year with the work done by Milestone Contractors North.
Paving projects included 12th Road from Michigan to Maple, Pear from 14B to 18B, 15th Road from State Road 17 to the railroad tracks, Sycamore from 9th to U.S. 30, Union from 9C to 10B, Tamarack from U.S. 6 to the County Line, and 1st from Tamarack to Town Limits.
Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters told the commissioners Monday morning that many of the regular paving projects have also been done by highway crews with a lot of the county covered this year. He will present the road program projects for 2023 in an upcoming meeting for approval at a later date.
