The fall installment of property taxes is due into Marshall County Treasurer Angie Birchmeier’s office on Thursday, November 10.
Tax bills were mailed earlier this year with coupons for both the spring and fall installments.
Payments may be made in person in the Treasurer’s Office in the Marshall County Building Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.
Payments may be mailed to the Treasurer’s Office but it must have a postmark of November 10 or before to be determined “on time”.
Payments may be dropped off outside the Marshall County Building in one of the drop boxes on the north and south ends of the building. Drop boxes are inside the vestibule, but an outdoor drop box is available on the south end of the building to the west of the double doors.
Taxes may be paid by credit or debit card online at www.co.marshall.in.us under the property taxes prompt. A convenience fee will be applied to that transaction.
Beginning today (October 27), First Merchants Bank in Bourbon, First Farmers Bank and Trust in Culver, the Town of Bremen Clerk-Treasurer’s office, and any TCU location in Marshall County will accept property tax payments. The tax coupon must be included with the payment.
Taxpayers are encouraged to contact a lending provider to ensure that tax payments have been made if there is an escrow.
Call the Marshall County Treasurer’s Office with any questions at 574-935-8520.
