The Culver Town Council members adopted the amended parking ordinance during their meeting last week.
Town Manager Ginny Bess Munroe explained changes were made to Jefferson, Madison and Washington Streets to match what is posted with signage.
Parking on Jefferson Street is allowed on the north and south side from Ohio Street to Madison Street except from Main Street to the alley east of Main Street where parking is restricted to two-hour parking Friday through Sunday and holidays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.
Parking on Madison Street will be allowed on the north and south sides of Madison Street from Ohio to the end, except on the south side from Main Street to 30 feet east of Main Street Friday through Sunday and on holidays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. A handicap parking spot will be marked and accessible in front of the Bed and Breakfast.
Parking on Washington Street is allowed on the north and south side from Ohio Street to Plymouth Street, except where parking is restricted to two-hour parking. Two-hour parking is allowed on the north and south sides of Washington Street from Main Street to the alley east of Main Street and from Ohio Street to Plymouth Street through Sunday and holidays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. The third and final reading was approved with a unanimous vote by the town council last week.
